Device-related information: We will collect information about the hardware, performance, status, etc. of your device, including device ID (DID), firmware version, days used, working time, turn-on times, the number of video recorded, device location (such as your house address), time zone, security code (if any) for viewing the device, as well as battery level, device setting update time, SD card usage.

Network information: We may collect your network information when your device is connecting to a network, including the current Wi-Fi connecting mode (such as LAN mode, remote mode), IP address, Wi-Fi signal intensity, intensity index of received Wi-Fi signal (i.e., RSSI), MAC address, as well as name (SSID) and password of the Wi-Fi network provided by you. Such information will be encrypted and stored in a secure server and will only be used for purposes you authorize.

Information about device settings: We may collect information about device settings, including charging light status, indicator light status,image settings,real-time footage settings, infrared night vision settings, on/off status of firmware auto update, on/off status of person detection,motion detection settings (on/off status of motion detection, detection period, detection range, delayed recording time, shooting interval, Max. recording duration) and push notification settings (push events and notification type),SD card status,AI settings(on/off status of facial recognition,bird detection,pet detection,vehicle detection,wild animals detection,package detection).

Information about live image: We may collect information about live image, including current image time, playback speed, image quality option and volume. In addition, you may snap a screenshot or record the live image and save on your phone.

Voice information: We may collect voice information, including your recorded voice replies and voice changing option.

Video recording information: We may collect information about videos triggered when someone appearing within the detection range of the camera and the motion detection function is enabled (i.e., video recording triggered by motion). We may also collect events which triggered video recording, such as when someone appears or an animal is detected.As the Reli Light Cam Battery D1 and Reli Birddy Smart Bird House software and services are recording products, sound recording is enabled by default. We may also collect audio recorded in videos for the purpose of providing some features.

Feedback: We will collect feedback, contact information and error log you provide.

Facial recognition information: When you fully understand face recognition feature and enable it, we may collect facial photos (provided by you or recognized by the system from videos), facial characteristics recognized from photos, facial notes you input and recognition results. If you do not provide us with such information, you will not be able to use the face recognition function normally, but it will not affect your usage of other functions. For such information, we will take strict security precautions, including irreversible transformation processing and encrypted storage to ensure the security of such data.

Other information: We may also collect other types of information which are not directly or indirectly linked to an individual and which is aggregated, anonymized or de-identified. For example, the device model and system version number of the user’s Reli device may be collected when using a particular service. Such information is collected in order to improve the services we provide to you.


Personal information is collected for providing services and / or products to you, and legal compliance on our part under applicable laws. You hereby consent that we may process and disclose personal information to our affiliated companies, Third Party Service Providers (defined below) for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy.

We may use your personal information for the following purposes:

Providing, processing, maintaining, improving and developing our goods and/or services to you, including after-sales and customer support and for services on your device or through our websites.

Communicating with you about your device, service or any general queries, such as updates, customer inquiry support, information about our events, notices.

Here are more details on how we use your information (which may include personal information):

Pairing with device and synchronizing data: We will collect information about accounts, device and network to synchronize data, enable the device to accept plug-in instruction, and upload data to server (applicable to specific functions/services only).

To view live image: You can view the live image from time to time on your phone when the motion detection function is enabled. For this reason, we will collect information about current image time, playback speed, image quality option and volume. In addition, you can snap a screenshot or record the current live image. Live image screenshot/video recording will be saved on your phone instead of being uploaded to any server.

Video playback: You can view videos of various types in the software. Therefore, we will collect both videos recorded when motion is detected and events that trigger video recording, and save those encrypted videos in a secure server. The videos will be stored in the server for 72 hours, during which you can download, view or delete them. To do this, we will collect information related to your network.

Two-way talkback: You can view information about the live image in the software and talk with the visitor with two-way talkback function. We will not collect information about your conversation, unless you select to record current live image before/when using the two-way talkback. But under no circumstances will we try to read or identify your conversation. Besides, you can select to change your voice during conversation; voice changing will only be performed on your phone and will be deleted immediately after the conversation is done, without being uploaded to any server.

Motion detection: You can enable or disable the motion detection function. If enabled, video recording will be triggered when someone moves within the detection range of the camera. You can set the sensitivity (low-medium-high) away from the door or lingering duration (in seconds) in front of the door to trigger video recording; you can also set the starting and end time of detection, as well as the shooting interval, which can avoid interference from one same event. You can view the videos online on your phone. To do this, we will collect information about the detection sensitivity, detection period, delayed recording period and shooting interval you have set.

Collecting user feedback: The feedback you choose to provide is valuable for improvements to our services. In order to track your feedback, Reli may use the personal information you provide to contact you and to keep records.

Sending notices.:From time to time, we may use your personal information to send important notices, such as communications about purchases and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies.

Face recognition: You can enable or disable the face recognition function. If the function is enabled, you can add a face (by providing a facial photo or adding one recognized directly from a video), add notes to a face and use face recognition. As a result, when a face is detected, the device can extract its facial characteristic values and compare the values with those of previously recognized faces, so as to identify whether the face is noted or not in the system. To do this, we will collect information about facial photos you provide, screenshot of faces from videos, facial characteristic values extracted from photos and face recognition results (whether the face is noted or not in the system). You can rest assured that such information is stored in a secure server and will only be used for the purposes you have authorized. We will ask for your permission again if we want to use such information for other purposes in the future.


We do not sell any personal information to third parties.

We may disclose your personal information on occasion to third parties (as described below) in order to provide the products or services that you have requested.

Disclosure may be made to Third Party Service Providers and affiliated companies listed in this section below. In each case described in this section, you can be assured that Reli will only share your personal information in accordance with your consent. For example, when you access your Reli Account, you can choose to use our two-step verification process for better security. When you send or receive data from your Reli device to our servers, we make sure they are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL") and other algorithms.

We classify your data based on importance and sensitivity, and ensure that your personal information has the highest security level. We make sure that our employees and Third Party Service Providers who access the information to help provide you with our products and services are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations and may be disciplined or terminated if they fail to meet such obligations. We have special access controls for cloud based data storage as well. All in all, we regularly review our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against any unauthorized access and use.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, you must notify us immediately if there is any unauthorized use of your account by any other Internet user or any other breach of security.

Personal information will be held for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws. We shall cease to retain personal information, or remove the means by which the personal information can be associated with particular individuals, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that the purpose for which that personal information was collected is no longer being served by retention of the personal information. All the personal information on the device will be erased when you reset your device to factory default settings. To implement a hard-reset function, you can press and hold the ON/OFF button on the side of the device until you hear a prompt of "Reset successfully" . Beware that hard-reset can’t be undo, so you have to make sure that you don’t need the information any more.


Our applications may need access to certain features on your device such as Wi-Fi network status. This information is used to allow the applications to run on your device and allow you to interact with the applications.
